PBIS
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports. Our mission is to model and promote positive behavior and clearly communicate expectations for all Bracken County High School staff and students. Through this program we monitor behavior and provide positive support for students that are modeling proper behavior throughout the day. Each week 10 names are drawn at random to receive a Friday reward and at the end of each 9 weeks students that have received BC bucks are also entered in a drawing for a reward period. Last year we were able to reach Fidelity in our first year which is a huge accomplishment and were honored with a banner on Monday September 10th at the Bracken County Board of Education meeting. Pictured left to right Phylliss Case KY PBIS Coordinator, Wade Smith and Chris Yelton Bracken County High School PBIS team members.
